David J. McKenzie received his JD degree from the University of Denver College of Law and his BS degree in computer science from Brigham Young University in 1995. He has work experience as a software engineer. He is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Utah and the US Patent and Trademark Office.  His practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution and includes copyright and trademark prosecution including procurement of foreign trademark protection, licensing, technology transfer agreements and related litigation. He specializes in servicing a range of clients from small inventors to large corporate in-house counsel.  He has experience in the fields of information technology, software, domain name disputes, business methods, mechanical devices, fuel cells, hydrogen generation, oil and gas exploration methods, web services, service oriented architectures, and alternative energy sources.
